Group Obedience Classes
We offer obedience classes for dogs three months and older. We call the classes ‘More Than Manners’ for good reason. At MOT we do more than just teach obedience. We also help you understand dogs – how a dog’s body language communicates with other dogs and with you & what motivates different breeds of dogs.
Classes are held at Barking Hound Village, 5922 Cedar Springs near Inwood, in an indoor training facility. Classes are limited to 10 dogs so each owner/dog team receives the attention they need to excel. A minimum for each class is five dogs.

Monday Nights from 6:30 to 7:30 PM -
1.) January 24th to March 7th (No class on Feb. 21st)
2.) March 21st to May 2nd (No class on April 4th)
3.) May 16th to June 17th (No class on May 30th)
4.) August 22nd to October 3rd (No class on Sept. 5th)
5.) October 10th to November 14th
Classes are held once a week for six weeks. The obedience exercises taught in each class are sit, down, stay, come, heel and rest. Classes are intentionally kept small at 10 dogs maximum, in order to insure that each dog/owner team receives the attention needed to achieve success. In addition, owners are shown how to correct common behavior problems such as jumping, chewing, barking, digging and biting.

Dogs must be current on all vaccinations prior to attending class! Your veterinarian may fax your dog's shot records or a note stating that all vaccinations are current to 214-891-0321 or you may bring a copy of either to the first class.
Barking Hound Village is located at 5922 Cedar Springs near Inwood - all classes are held in a 1,000 square foot indoor training facility.
