 Welcome to Masters Obedience Training! Home of 'Expectation Training'*  Our sole goal is to help train your dog to meet your expectations as a great family companion, a good neighbor or a steady hunting partner Whether it’s on a walk, a visit to a friend’s house or to a duck blind, a trained dog can go anywhere you do because he knows how to behave properly in a variety of settings. For this reason, we believe a trained dog is the most spoiled dog there is!  Our training techniques and philosophies have been built over several decades while training our own dogs and those of others in obedience and field. We know what it takes to move you from dog owner to dog master. We train our clients to be consistent, clear and firm but kind with their dogs. We recognize that dogs are highly intelligent creatures, but we accept that they are dogs! So while our training methods emphasize praise and positive reinforcement, we teach our clients how to make the training corrections necessary to teach and reinforce proper behavior.  A dog that comes when he's called, refrains from jumping on your guests and lies quietly while you enjoy a movie, is a joy. So in addition to teaching your dog basic commands, we'll address the behaviors that matter to you like not chewing on your shoes, digging up your flowers or beating you out the door!
